The BPJ Series Mining Explosion-proof and Intrinsically-safe Low Voltage AC Variable Frequency Drive

The BPJ Series Mining Explosion-proof and Intrinsically-safe Low Voltage AC VFD (hereinafter referred to as the VFD) is a general-purpose speed governing VFD for mining belt conveyors and other loading equipment needing speed governing with design of anti-explosion and anti-vibration, used to drive three-phase AC motors and realize stepless frequency control. The input voltage of this VFD is AC 660V and 1,140V. The maximum output voltage is the three-phase AC voltage of the same level. The explosion-proof type of the VFD is mining flameproof and intrinsically-safe Exd[ib]I Mb. It is composed of variable-frequency speed control system, display system and parameter setting unit. It applies advanced IGBT frequency control and vector control theory to the speed regulation device with high degree of automation and leading technology. Tests and inspections such as explosion-proof, cyclic damp heat test and electric property have been conducted for the device, and relevant certificates have been obtained. The system has many functions such as over-speed, software overcurrent and open-phase protection. Meanwhile, there are many protection functions such as IGBT short-circuit protection, IGBT driving signal protection, overload, overvoltage, under-voltage and over-temperature protection inside the VFD.

The BPJ Series Mining Explosion-proof and Intrinsically-safe Low Voltage AC VFD can be used for regulating the speed of mining belt conveyor motors, applicable to frequency conversion driving system of synchronous or asynchronous motors. This product belongs to a two-quadrant working system and it can meet the starting and speed governing requirements of asynchronous motors for mining belt conveyor and scraper.
